Product Details

Our company successfully constructed the "Zhixian Star" and "Nanfeng Star" vessels. These vessels were the first 26,000 DWT electric-propelled deck carriers built domestically at that time, representing the most advanced electric-propelled ultra-large deck cargo carriers in China. They set a record as the first electric-propelled deck carriers in the history of Chinese shipbuilding, and were the largest heavy-lift ocean-going electric-propelled special deck carriers in Asia at that time.

This vessel is a 160M ocean-going deck transport ship independently developed and built by our company. It has a total length of 159.60 meters, a beam of 43 meters, a moulded depth of 10.5 meters, a design draft of 7.3 meters, an over-ballast draft of 9 meters, a displacement of 36,508 tons, an effective deck area of 140×43 meters, and an average deck load of 25 tons per square meter. It adopts full electric propulsion and can reach a speed of over 14 knots. It is a twin-screw ocean-going deck transport vessel designed for large-piece deck transportation in unrestricted waters. It is equipped with two variable-frequency motor-driven main propellers with fixed pitch, two bow thrusters, and two stern thrusters to meet the requirements of DPI. It is also equipped with a DP2 dynamic positioning system, ballast tanks that meet PSPC requirements, and advanced ship equipment such as underwater inspection marks and unmanned engine rooms. It has participated in the construction of the internationally renowned Senegal offshore LNG production project and has received unanimous praise from shipowners!
